Breakdown and Recovery
When a manufacturer’s breakdown cover expires it’s just another thing to sort out. With Masterlease, it’s just another thing that we’ve already taken care of. Comfort 24 is our comprehensive rescue and recovery service, operated in conjunction with The AA and designed exclusively for Masterlease customers. With nationwide assistance available from one freephone number, a response time of under an hour in at least 80% of call-outs and 8 out of 10 vehicles repaired at the roadside or the driver’s home, disruption is kept to a minimum. Comfort 24 is included in the price of our Fixed Maintenance Contract, while Managed Maintenance customers may subscribe to one of Comfort 24’s three option levels.
Level 1. Roadside and Homestart
Roadside assistance plus limited recovery to local dealer.
Level 2. Roadside, Homestart and Relay
Roadside assistance, plus recovery of the vehicle, the driver and up to seven passengers to a destination of their choice.
Level 3. Roadside, Homestart, Relay and Relay Plus
Roadside assistance, plus recovery of the vehicle, the driver and up to seven passengers to a destination of their choice in one uninterrupted journey. If the vehicle is immobilised the driver is entitled to the provision of onward travel by transport (hire car for 24 hours or rail travel) or emergency overnight hotel accommodation (up to the value of £250).
We also operate a pay-on-use option for your convenience, which provides service at the roadside or the driver’s home/office address and includes towage of 20 miles.
